Always on hand to encourage me
Giving me truth that helped me to see
Passing along your strength, wisdom, and grace
Making me stronger when trials I would face
Life tossed you about and tried to bring you to your knees
Only to make you stronger and approach it with ease
You left me, I hate it, I`ve still not accepted it
But in due time I`ll be able to embrace it
What you left with me and your being in total peace
Has to mean more than what I`d want for me
I know that you`re now happy and in the best of care
Keep your loving arms around me and help me to make it there
